On 21th February, Jiangsu Pangwo signed the agreement of increasing operation and maintenance personnel with Shanghai Electric, which increases the personnel number from 99 to 149, this also marks that the Iraq Wasit project department of our company has won full acknowledgement and affirmation of the Iraqi owner and our employer Shanghai Electric.


From January 1, 2017, the company officially took over Iraq Wasit Power Plant project, the project department has standardized various production site management systems, made scientific and reasonable job scheduling and work arrangement, and all the staff united together, overcome the language barriers, climate and other difficulties, use the spare time to study and get familiar with equipment and system of Wasit Power Plant, and soon entered the technical guidance role, and through several unit start-up and difficult treatment of defects, successfully complete all production tasks arranged by the owner and the employer, fully demonstrated the company superb management level and strong technical strength.
 

20 PIn late January, Iraq owner's staff made great adjustment, the project department staff came to a great shortage, the work nature also shifted from technical guidance to contracted operation, 99 employees are responsible for all operation, maintenance, repair, logistics, and other work of 6 units, three Central Control Room, the company faces a huge challenge. In order to meet the power usage demand of the Iraqi people, all the staff give full play to the spirit of taking the interests of the whole into account, do not flinch in the face of difficulties,
endure with dogged will, each person completed several people's work, and take the initiative to sacrifice personal rest time, sticking till now, to ensure the safe and stable operation of the unit. This move has won high praise and affirmation from the Iraqi owner and employer, gaining the comment of"standardized management, professional techniques, can overcome difficulties, can fight hard battle" for the company, has also  made a positive contribution for the company to expand overseas influence, to further develop overseas power plant project .
